Header - Celebrating Black History

The month of February honors and recognizes the vital role African Americans play in the history and future of our nation. Since 1976, February has been a way to "honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history," President Gerald Ford.

In celebration of Black History, WEDU PBS invites you to recognize the accomplishments of African Americans, both past and present. Below you will find programming that educates and enlightens you on the importance of Black History.
