Digital Manager Kelli Serio honored with Janyth Righter Award

Founded in 2017, the award is named in recognition of Janyth Righter, the former executive director of Florida Public Media and a trailblazer in Florida's public broadcasting. It is presented to a staff member from one of Florida's 24 public radio and television stations, recognizing innovative leadership.

Kelli Serio has transformed WEDU's digital presence, positioning the station to reach younger demographics and introducing our brand to diverse audiences through digital content. Since joining the company in March 2022, Kelli's leadership has helped increase our net audience growth across social platforms by 4,447.9%
