Jack Conely Appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) at WEDU PBS
Jack Conely has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer at WEDU PBS. With over 34 years of experience in award-winning program development, production, and executive management, Jack brings a wealth of expertise to his new position.
Commencing his career at WEDU in 1995 as a Director/Producer, Jack has progressively advanced within the organization. Over nearly three decades, he has held various pivotal roles including Production Manager, Director of Production, VP of Content, and Interim President and CEO.
In the past five years alone, Jack has played a significant role in WEDU’s continued success by spearheading departments such as Content, Education, Engineering, Facilities, and Operations as the Senior VP of Operations.
Jack holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications/Broadcasting from the University of Florida. Prior to his tenure at WEDU PBS, he also contributed his talents to WUFT TV/FM in Gainesville, FL, and WMFE TV/FM in Orlando.
