PBS KIDS: Double Your Fun beginning June 2

Studies have shown that students lose knowledge and skills over the summer. This summer, we’re adjusting our regular schedule to provide more of the PBS KIDS programs your kids love and more of the key learning they need to stay ahead of the summer slump. It’s double the learning and double the fun!

Become a Literacy Buddy

Anyone, any age, anywhere can become a Literacy Buddy. In fact, many Literacy Buddies are only winter residents of Florida. It doesn’t take much time and all exchanges between buddies are done by mail and sent to the child care site using first names only. Learn More

American Graduate

1.3 million kids drop out of high school per year, costing our nation more than $100 billion annually in lost wages and taxes, plus the increased social costs due to crime and healthcare. WEDU has established partnerships with a number of local organizations, and is currently filming interstitials focused on the benefits of participating in Florida’s Take Stock in Children Program (TSIC).
