WEDU PBS to Host 8th Annual Estate and Tax Planning Continuing Education Seminar

TAMPA, FL (July 19, 2013) — On September 19th, in partnership with the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, WEDU PBS will host the Eighth Annual Estate and Tax Planning Seminar for Attorneys, CPA’s, CFP’s and Trust Officers. The seminar, with Bronson Thayer as honorary chair, will be held in WEDU’s Hough Family Foundation Studio at the Berkman Family Broadcast Center with noted experts providing the latest information and advanced strategies to help attorneys, financial planners, CPAs and wealth management advisors remain current in the financial planning field and better assist their clients.

WEDU’s Eighth Annual Estate and Tax Planning Seminar presenters include; Daniel A. Smith, Cannon Financial Institute, who will discuss “Coming Shifts in Estate Planning;” Alan Gassman, Gassman Law Associates; his topic: “Asset Protection.” A moderated panel discussion on “Income Tax Reduction Strategies and 1041 Issues,” will include Paul Dunham, CBIZ Kirkland, Russ, Murphy & Tapp; R. Jay DeGeare, Bernstein Global Wealth Management; and Linda D. Hartley, Hill Ward & Henderson.
