Library Corners

In November 2015, WEDU PBS announced a very generous bequest from a long-time viewer. At $4 million, the gift from Mrs. Phyllis Ensign marked the largest gift in our 60-year history. Her gift supported the creation of new local series, paid internships, educational equipment and supplies for teacher workshops, community outreach and more.

To honor Mrs. Ensign’s gift, WEDU PBS donated numerous multimedia library corners to libraries throughout our 16 county viewing area in her name.

Library corners can be found in Lake Wales, Safety Harbor, New Port Richey, Mulberry, Sarasota, North Port, Arcadia, Bradenton and Tampa public libraries.

Applications for the WEDU PBS Phyllis L. Ensign Library Corners are currently closed. Please check back for more information!
