Join us as we share the different perspectives of the Vietnam War through a screening of WEDU’s local documentary, The Vietnam War: Voices from the Bay along with segment previews from The Vietnam War a documentary film series by Ken’s Burns and Lynn Novick. Following the film screenings will be a discussion.
MODERATOR | Howard Altman, Tampa Bay Times Staff Writer
Howard Altman covers the military, national security and veterans issues for the Tampa Bay Times. Prior to coming to Tampa, where he covered the same beat for the Tampa Tribune, Altman was an editor and columnist at the Philadelphia City Paper. He has won more than 50 journalism awards and when he's not working, he likes to fly in old airplanes, fish and snorkel.
