Smart Health, WEDU’s three-time Emmy award-winning magazine-style medical series, is a part of HealthyState.org – an innovative public media project focused on providing the latest medical and health information available to all Floridians. From game-changing research, to cutting-edge technology and timely information designed to provide insight on issues related to health and wellness, HealthyState.org empowers citizens with the tools and information needed for a healthier life – via PBS television stations, NPR radio outlets and various websites and social media forums throughout the State.

Hosted by Angie Moreschi, SMART HEALTH airs on the last Thursday of each month at 9 pm beginning on March 31. Each 30-minute episode features breakthrough advancements in medicine, healthy aging, innovative treatments and personal triumphs — real life stories that provide practical advice, insight and inspiration.
