On Saturday, April 5, more than 3,200 children and families attended the 5th annual Storybook Forest event at Crews Lake Wilderness Park in Spring Hill, Florida.  The free literacy event, hosted by the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties in collaboration with the 19th Annual Children’s Week festivities, was sponsored by WEDU PBS, The Tampa Bay Times and other organizations serving the community. Visitors enjoyed exhibits and activities focused on storybook themes and had the opportunity to meet PBS favorites Clifford the Big Red Dog, Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat and Super WHY and his friends.
