100+ participants in the Caregiving Town Hall Meeting identified the following topics as the most important matters for discussion. WEDU will continue to collect feedback and keep our community members informed of any topics, questions and updates up through the airing of the program on May 15, 2008.

• Need for respite
• Financial burden of caregiving
• Negative impact on caregiver's physical/mental health
• End-of-life issues
• Understanding Medicare and/or Medicaid
• Lack of quality, affordable, reliable paraprofessional help
• How can caregiving solutions be encouraged at the community level?
• Caregiver stress
• Difficulty balancing work and caregiving, including lack of flextime and paid family leave
• Hard to watch someone you care about just getting sicker and frailer
