WEDU’s Fourth Annual Be More Effective Workshop A Success They came from as far away as Port Charlotte, Lakes Wales and Weeki Wachee to join more than 250 other leaders of west central Florida’s nonprofit community for the 4th annual
WEDU Be More Effective Workshop.
An extension of the award-winning, nationally-recognized WEDU Be More Awards™ program the free, day-long workshop was held at the A
La Carte Pavilion on September 9th with a capacity crowd. The workshop provided relevant survive and thrive tips – basically – “How To” be more effective and featured experts from a variety of disciplines providing meaningful advice during 10 breakout sessions and three keynote presentations.
Complemented by the addition of the local business Resource Marketplace, staff, volunteers and leaders of the community’s most important nonprofit organizations were educated, energized and equipped with information and resources to be more effective in their service to the community.
