The National Speaking of Women’s Health Foundation Board of Directors and senior management recently provided a statement to WEDU, and its other nationwide event partners, that their organization will no longer be co-hosting regional conferences.
The Speaking of Women’s Health® 13-year-old “brand” has been absorbed by Cleveland Clinic, and effectively, the “doors” to the Foundation’s Cincinnati, Ohio based office have been closed. While Cleveland Clinic is one of the largest and most respected hospitals in the country, it is yet unclear what their plans are with Speaking of Women’s Health®.
Based on this announcement, WEDU’s two Speaking of Women’s Health® conferences scheduled for the Sarasota/Manatee and Tampa markets have been cancelled. WEDU will continue to provide educational and entertaining outreach in the west central Florida community through a number of other endeavors and special events
